meera herbal powder

Dear all… I have been using Meera Herbal Powder since past 1.5 years. Meera powder, which contains Shikakai, green gram, tulsi, vettiver, reetha, hibiscus and fenugreek, is perfect for any type of hair to keep it healthy and strong.

I have lost almost 3/4th of my hair in the span of 3 years (2000-2003) due to pollution, water and unhealthy diet. In the mid 2004, I started using conditioners along with shampoos to keep my hair silky(which I repent now).

Now, here I am with nice flowing hair after using this meera herbal powder for almost a year and half now. My hair growth has increased, I tell you this because, my clips have now become small for my hair.. and I had to buy big ones…(I used to do it when I was in my 10th class… now again I am really happy about this.. and I rejoice every-time I shop for bigger clips for my hair…
Honest review of a satisfied user (somewhere in India).

Meera Herbal Powder, is one amazing herbal hair wash powder used in treating hair loss. You may or may have not heard about this product before, probably because of the fact that it is much more popular in India than in any other part of the world. For those of you that may have probably seen it in supermarkets, cosmetic shops, and online stores at one point or the other may have also ignored it because it’s not a liquid shampoo, it’s a powder shampoo, an herbal one, and needs a bit of mixing before it can be applied to the hair. Weird isn’t it?

Open the cap and remove the seal. Close cap and open the flip to use. Mix the powder and water in a bowl to make a paste. Apply the paste on wet hair, wait for a while and then rinse thoroughly and repeat if necessary.
As for me, when I saw the product and found out that it was in powder form, I must confess I was bit startled for I haven’t seen any hair wash in powdered form before. I actually thought it would be a messy process mixing the powder together and applying it on hair, but it’s not. Well, at least from most of the reviews I could read online it wasn’t that bad.

It is a 90 gm product pack and for people – ladies with mid-length hair, you could use it twice. The powder comes in a plastic bottle which is filled only 1/4th of its size.
From what I’ve been able to gather, the powder smells strongly of herbs though after rinsing it off, there is not much of any fragrance left in the hair. You would need to take half of the powder in the pack and mix it with water into a loose paste. After that, you apply it on to your wet hair. This powder foams and lathers so well that for a moment you might have doubts in your mind as to whether any sulfates were added to it. Though there is no mention of any other ingredient other than the herbal ones.

There are some bits of herbs in the powder, but they wash easily off the hair. It cleans just like a shampoo, probably because of the soap-nut and shikkakai. You would notice a nice clean hair with this herbal wash. After air drying, I believe your hair would be well conditioned, though it doesn’t make your hair glossy.

How effective is Meera Herbal Powder?

Some of the herbs present in this herbal powder that you can identify are shikkakai, tulasi, fenugreek, hibiscus, moong dal, soap-nuts (rita), vetiver, gooseberry (amla). Trust me all these herbs are good for hair health and all round growth.
Using the Meera Herbal Powder on a regular basis may be able to control your hair fall.
